What is Iridology?
Iridology is the art and science of the color and structure of the iris to determine tissue weakness and the body’s predisposition to weakness. Over the years, many iridology texts have "mapped" segments of the iris to correspond with various internal organs. The science of Iridology is not used for diagnosis. Iridology shows the potentiality of the body and the degree of vitality of a gland, organ or system. Regina Oyarce uses Iridology as a natural tool for assessment.
It is not easy to say exactly where the practice of Iridology, some says in Egypt and others in Ancient China. As per Peter Jackson-Main in his book Practical Iridology, in the seventeenth and eighteenth century two text appears: Chiromatica Medica, published in 1670 by Philippus Meyens and De Oculo et Signo, published in 1786 by Christian Haertels. But there was still no coherent theory or practice of Iridology. The modern Iridology begins in nineteenth century with the Hungarian physician called Ignatz von Peczely and with the works and research of Nils Liljequist from Sweden. Liljequist published his work in 1893 which contained highly detailed drawings of irises. The American contribution comes from Dr. Henry Lahn, Dr. Henry Lindlahr, Dr. Bernard Jensen and Dr. John R. Christopher.
What to Expect from your Iridology consultation?
Regina will examine the irises of your eyes using a high resolution image taken with an iriscope. The process is completely painless, safe, and noninvasive.
While examining your irises, both in-person, and later when reviewing the photographs, Regina will look for subtle signs of developing illness, such as symptoms of stress or a build-up of toxins. She will do a comparison to the eye charts to determine degree of vitality of a gland, organ or system and determine tissue weakness and the body’s predisposition to weakness.
The examination and consultation typically will last about an hour. She will combine it with a health intake questioner. Regina is not a physician, and she will not diagnosing anybody with any specific disease. She will, however, tell you about any risk factors and give preventive health-care measures to follow.
